Title "Nightmare"
Description A good story about a father who is seeking revenge on the hit-and-run driver who killed his son on a mountain road. A different story with the same name was previously produced on "Suspense" on March 13, 1948 (see cat. #24152). This is a network, sponsored version of cat. #24176. The National Safety Council presents an award to the program and Auto-Lite for "the year's outstanding highway safety program." The middle commercial is a total disaster. Fred Dearborn of the National Safety Council presents the award to Royce Martin (president of Auto-Lite). Mr. Martin first loses his place in his very brief script and there's eleven seconds of dead air (perhaps caused by a loss of audio on the network). He then thanks the "National Security Council" for the award!
